Enthusiasm and enjoyment at informal concert
We held a very successful Informal Concert at the school on Friday afternoon which provided a vivid demonstration of the number of children learning instruments at the school and the pleasure and confidence they have in their musical activities.
More than 20 children had signed up to play, and we heard violins, cellos, flutes and the piano. We were also entertained with two duets.
The informal concerts which are held regularly during the school year are an ideal opportunity for children to become used to performing in public, as the setting is relaxed and appreciative.
