Countdown to the launch of our Choristers CD
Later this month a very special CD will be on sale at Russell House. It is a recording of Christmas carols and traditional songs which was made by our School Choristers and was professionally recorded in St Bartholomew’s Church in Otford earlier this year.
Music is a very important part of life at Russell House and, every morning, almost every child aged seven and above comes into school early to rehearse with Choristers. Typically they sing challenging and advanced pieces, sometimes in Latin or other languages, and with a number of parts. The music on the CD is therefore of an exceptional standard for a school of our age range.
Parents and children have been waiting patiently for the launch of the CD for a number of months and pre-orders are already being taken before the formal launch of the CD at our Christmas Fair on November 26.
