Somehow, between the end of school Friday and midday Saturday, Russell House was transformed into a winter wonderland complete with Santa’s grotto, Christmas crafts and gifts, mince pies, sausage rolls and lots more.

Of course, the man himself couldn’t miss it either, and so Father Chrismtas installed himself in the grotto with two elves to welcome children to see him and to receive a special present.

This year’s Christmas Fair had everything necessary to keep children and parents entertained, including a remarkable inflatable maze at the entrance to the Russell Hall, which proved great fun for many.

Christmas wreaths and cakes were available to order and children took part in a range of Christmas craft activities.
