Frogmen, dragons, knights, potions… It must be the Form 6 plays!
After several weeks of preparation, line learning and intensive costume organisation, Form 6 performed their plays to parents on Friday. The results were impressive and very entertaining, involving a peculiar mixture of frogmen, German soldiers, witches, dragons, knights and magic potions.
This year, the children added a presentation of their own based on the life and works of Edward Lear which included a dramatic reading of Lear’s poem, The Jumblies, those intrepid seafarers whose heads, as everyone knows, are green and whose hands are blue. The children wore appropriate green masks for additional dramatic effect.
