Confidence and eager participation
For us, every child is a potential musician, athlete, artist or performer. That means we have high expectations and provide opportunities across sport, music and the arts to develop their skills to the highest possible levels.
We have a participative culture where children naturally join in, try new activities and learn new skills. It is vital for children to develop this confidence and eager participation if they are to continue to make the most of opportunities through life.
This breadth can be seen in how music is integrated into the heart of school life and how our strength in sports is being promoted with the use of professional coaches.

Independence and life skills
It can also be seen in the programme we introduce for children in Form 7 following their exams, as we develop their independence and life skills, including first aid and cycling proficiency, easing their progression to secondary school.
