Wonderful characters
08 Mar 2024What a fantastic Book Week we have had!
On Monday, the children completed an Inter-House Book Quiz, followed by an assembly by Poet and Author, Laura Mucha. Laura was loud, funny and hugely engaging and children absolutely loved listening to her. They will have certainly learnt the importance of proofreading from her! In the afternoon, the children then had a workshop with Laura, which they absolutely loved, and it was wonderful to see everyone so enthusiastic and engaged in the session.
On Tuesday, the children visited the Mother's Day Stall, which was organised brilliantly (as always!) by the wonderful RHPA. We hope you all enjoy your gifts!
On Thursday, we celebrated World Book Day and we had a wide variety of characters in the class, including:

Well done to all of the children in Form 6, who put so much effort into all the wonderful activities they have had during Book Week. The Readathon has now started, so let's see how many minutes of reading we can achieve before the end of term!
