A gruffalo! Why, didn't you know?

Form 2 have been describing the Gruffalo using adjectives. Then on Thursday, Mrs Varley’s Gruffalo went missing so Form 2 had to go on a hunt around the school to find the missing Gruffalo! Luckily, rhyming clues were left and the children found the Gruffalo in The Farm.

A very warm welcome back to everyone in Form 6. It has been lovely hearing about what all the children got up to over the holidays and they have thoroughly enjoyed sharing their news with us all. The class has settled incredibly well into the Form 6 classroom and the children are quickly adjusting to their new timetable.

We've kicked off this half term by taking part in Environment Awareness Week with our story of the week, The Lorax. So far, the children have all really enjoyed this book, remembered lots of aspects and characters and have started to be able to recognise the impact of our actions on the environment.
