A bright sunshiny week
20 Sep 2024After a couple of false starts due to cloudy weather, they managed to make a sundial in science and proved their theory that shadows change in length and direction over the course of the day.
They also enjoyed using ray boxes in the science lab and placing prisms in such a way that they produced rainbows.
Form 4 have continued to work hard this week and they are getting used to the routines. They have been practising rounding numbers in maths and using the RUCSAC method to solve mathematical problems and puzzles.
History involved virtually exploring Lullingstone villa and recognising many of the features of a wealthy Roman home. They also discussed many of the reasons why the Romans decided to invade England.
All the children have also had the excitement of competitive hockey and football matches this week.
