About the Ice Age
22 Nov 2024This week, Form 5 did an assembly for the Main School.
The theme of the assembly was investigating Europe during the Ice Age and the children quizzed the audience on the different animals that had adapted to life during this time.
Elsewhere, Form 5 have come over all persuasive this week. We have been looking at a series of letters written on the subject of whether birds should be caged or not. As well as debating the pros and cons of the argument, they have been learning the subtle art of persuasion through use of statistics, flattery, rhetorical questions, bargaining and many more. Don't be surprised if you find yourself agreeing to all sorts of requests from your children in the coming days!
