Critical thinking

Form 7 have been engaging with critical thinking tasks in their humanities lessons this week.

They caught a flavour of what it must have been like for some of the key decision makers during wartime by deciding which side of a moral argument they would support.

The debate that sparked the most interest was whether rail yards in towns and cities should have been bombed. This would have caused a large civilian loss of life but may have saved millions in the grander context of the war.
