Magnetic games

Form 4 have been designing their own magnetic games this week.

The briefing was that they could create any game they wanted as long as a magnet was a key part of it. The children had a wonderful range of ideas which they then went on to make. There were mazes, fishing games and scoring goals by converting a magnet into a large goal post. The class then has a lot of fun testing out all of the games.

In humanities, they learnt about the story of Ganesh and had a think about what god or goddess they would create if they were able to. In English, they continued writing their persuasive pieces for Mr McCarthy.

In maths, the children have been learning about weight and capacity and have practised converting between the various metric units.
