Robins settling in

The new children are settling well in their new environments and our existing children have been very kind to their new friends.

We’ve had a great first couple of days, exploring the school grounds and baking! The wooden castle in the front garden received a makeover and the children enjoyed exploring the new grass. They added animals and open-ended resources to support their imaginative play.

Next week, our topic will be Healthy Eating (Snack-tember). We have lots of fun activities planned to support the children’s learning. We encourage children to bring in something from home (just not too big please). This can be related to our weekly topic or anything else they would like to share or celebrate with us. The children enjoy sharing their objects from home during carpet time and it is a fantastic way to build effective communication and listening skills.
