Hockey
U9A v Derwent Lodge: The U9A team played fantastically well on Thursday. It was a really close game, which we narrowly lost 3-2. We were 2-0 up at half-time and then Derwent Lodge came back much stronger in the second half. Bluebelle scored the equaliser just as the whistle blew, which sadly meant that the goal didn't count. We all played very well. Congratulations to Bluebell, who was player of the match. Evie
U9B v Derwent Lodge: We lost 4 - 0 to Derwent Lodge School, however, all of the girls played really well. Maka and Jessie did exceptionally well and Jaya, Maya, and Shanaya did great in their first match. Well done, girls. Isla

U9A v Solefield School: It was a very good game with a result of 8-1 to Russell House with some amazing attacking and defensive play from us. The goals were 4 outstanding goals by Harry and a great run by Anthony to get himself on the scoresheet. Sean, on his debut for Russell House, scored a mindblowing hat-trick. In the first half, he played in defence and only let in 1 goal. Then, when the second half kicked off, after a couple of minutes a ball was played through to Sean. He stayed calm and slotted it home, and so Sean's 2nd goal was even better! There was a clearance and the defender got there first, but Sean put pressure on the defender and won it back. He drove through and hit it in the back of the net. I thought that his final goal was the best one because a ball was played out wide to him, so he ran to the keeper, reached out for it and just got a tiny little touch to it to get his hat-trick. My player of the match was Sean. Euan
U9B v Solefield School: On 12th September we played football against Solefield School. Solefield were a tough team with good attacking skills. Although Rowan scored a great goal, the B team lost their match. Finlay
U8A v Solefield School: We were all very excited for our first match against Solefield. We got off to a great start with lots of shots at the goal. We played very well as a team with lots of good passing. Noah, Leo and Beau all scored goals, but it was a real team effort. Jasper and Milo were excellent in goal and defence. The final score was 7-2 to Russell House. We cannot wait for our next match. Remy
U8B v Solefield School: We all played really well in our first football match. The score was 1-1. I think we all did good dribbling. We all enjoyed our first match, I think we did really well for our first game and are looking forward to the next one. Rowan
