U10A v Hazelwood
We played amazingly well against Hazelwood and we won 4-3. Zoey scored one, Lottie scored one, Annabel scored and then Jessica scored the winning goal. We all tackled really hard and we never gave up, even after we let a goal in. We were 1-0 up, then 1-1, then it was half-time. In the second half, it was 2-1 to us, then 2-2, then 3-2 to them. Then we scored 2 goals to make it 4-3. The game was finally over and we had won! Rosie was amazing in defence and so was Alba. Lottie saved the goal that nearly cost us the game but she stuck her stick out and she ended up saving the goal. Jessica
U10B v Hazelwood
We had a wonderful match despite narrowly losing 1-2. At the start, we conceded two goals quite quickly, but once we got into the game, we started to put Hazelwood under pressure. Clara was amazing in defense, and she managed to pass the ball to the other side of the pitch many times. Isabella was good at dribbling with the ball really fast. She was so close to scoring so many times. In the second half, we came back even stronger and Orla scored a magnificent goal, which came from a hit-out by Clara. Well done to Clara, who was player of the match. Orla
U9 v Hilden Oaks
We won 3-0 and it was a great match! Mrs Curling set us the challenge of trying to dribble a bit more, which was a bit tricky but we did well. Bluebell was player of the match as she played very well and she was very good at getting past defenders and scoring goals. Kiki
U8 v Hilden Oaks
We won our match and we played brilliantly. I think Hilden Oaks played well and so did Russell House. Petra did excellent dribbling and Anastasia played well because she scored a great goal. It was a fun day. After all that hard work, we deserved our match tea. The final score was 6-0 to Russell House. Emilia Mo and Emilia Mi
U11 IAPS Regional Qualifier 11/10/2024
On Friday, the U10/11A Team went to the IAPS Regional Hockey Qualifier at Haileybury School. We played Channing School in our first match and we won 4-0. Georgie, Jessica, Amelia and Annabel scored some spectacular goals! I think we all played very well, but especially Jessica. Our second match was against St Michael's and sadly, we lost 0-3. Zoey (our goalie) was amazing for keeping the goals out of the goal. Our third match was against Colfes. We won 2-1. It was a very close match and both teams played amazingly. Well done again to Zoey, who saved some quick and hard shots at goal. Our fourth match was against Felsted school where we won 2-0 and well done to Georgie, who scored both of the goals. After winning three out of four matches, we finished second in our group, which meant that we went into the Cup knockout stages. In the quarter-final we played Kent college Canterbury, who were a very strong team and sadly we lost 0-3. In the end, the only two teams we lost to were the two that played in the final of the Cup competition, so we feel very proud. I would like to say a massive well done to all the players. Amelia
