U10/11A v Steephill: We played brilliantly. We hit 5 6s and 6 4s in total the score was 290 to us and 227 to Steephill. Our bowler of the match was Annabella and our batter of the match was Georgina. As a team, we fielded really well and when we stopped the ball we hit the wicket. To improve, we need to call whether to run or not and to move more to hit the ball. We tried really hard and all the girls should be proud of themselves. Well done! Annabella

 

 

U10/11B v Steephill: Steephill won the toss and chose to field first. Issy hit 4 fours in the first 4 balls to give us a great start. Aimee batted well at the end of the innings and hit a 6. Our overall score was 304. We all bowled really well but the best bowlers were Clara and Isla, who both took wickets and conceded the fewest runs. Steephill finished on 260 so Russell House won by a lot of runs.  Aimee was awarded best batter and Isla was given best bowler. Isla

 

U10C v The Hawthorns: This week's match was great! First, we batted. Personally, I thought we played exceptionally well. Sophie hit a four and did really well! Then we bowled. Jessica was great and she bowled the most dot balls. We all maintained strength in the hot weather and persevered. Hermione

 

U8 v Lingfield College: It was a good game in the sun. We batted first and there were some good hits from Bluebell and Kiki. Lingfield batted after and they too had some good hits with a few fours. Lingfield College were the winners. The scores were Russell House 254, Lingfield College 275. Maka

 

U10/11A v Caterham: Everyone was very excited for their first cricket match of the season, the chatter on the coach was non-stop. We started by batting, Bella and Isla were the first pair gaining a few runs. Our next pair was George and Catherine, George hit some amazing shots. Georgie and Georgia then Annabella and Mia R both played really well together. Next up we were bowling. All of our bowlers played impeccably and gave a great performance, taking three wickets. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to win this match, however we had a great time and are looking forward to the next game. Georgie

 

U10/11B v Caterham: We played against Caterham Prep School and did very well. Mia got bowler of the match & Isabelle got batter of the match. It was a close score of 250-230. Mia bowled three players and Clara bowled two wickets. We were one player down but we still played well. Mia H
