The children chose the name of a classmate out of a hat, then had to write three respectful or kind things about them. They then stood in the circle and the first person was given the end of the string. They then said who they were talking to and their three respectful things about that person. The ball then passed to that person. They said their three things and the ball passed to the next person, but leaving the string behind. Eventually, we made a web of respect, connecting them all together.
