Our growly Gruffalos16 Sep 2020
Form 2 have been taking inspiration from The Gruffalo this week.
The children used adjectives in their writing to describe the Gruffalo and then enjoyed singing the Gruffalo song. Later, we encountered some very fierce Gruffalos in class!
In Maths, Form 2 have been using a number line to add on single digits. They played interactive games on the board to identify place value. A particular favourite was a game using dice and I was impressed with their perseverance and hard work.
In Humanities we are learning about transport from the past. The class had a challenge to see how many different modes of transport they could think of. Wow! They came up with so many different ways to travel around.
In Science the children have been learning about the human body, identifying and labelling a diagram to show different areas of the body. Then they all enjoyed singing Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.
