Problem-solving and planning
18 Mar 2022Form 5 has been working as hard as ever. Not only are the rehearsals in their final stages ahead of the performances to the school and family next week, but the children have been working flat out in their other subjects too.
In maths, they have been working on their mental arithmetic, problem-solving and reasoning skills. There is high level division and fraction work underway and the children have shown a brilliant attitude to the challenges set.
In humanities lessons, they have continued to study Mount Everest and the country of Nepal. This week they have had the task of taking on the role of travel agents. Using each other as clients, the children have planned holidays to Nepal for each other, whilst researching adventurous, cultural and interesting places to visit within the country.
