They have been looking at two poems in particular - The Sea by James Reeves and The Ocean's Blanket by Carole Ann Duffy - which show the sea in many atmospheres. They worked in groups to present The Ocean's Blanket, using actions and expression to demonstrate the changing moods of the sea. Is it a cosy, frothy comfort, which hides treasures below, or a claustrophobic trapper of shipwrecks?
