Mafia Cats and Didgeridoo
30 Sep 2022This week, Form 5 has been introduced to the work of fantastic children's poet, Roger McGough.
In groups, they explored the language and humour in their given poems and performed them to the class.
This talented bunch brought to life the Mafia Cats, Bugsy, Franco and Toni (also known as Ginger, Mopsy and Tiddles); the ice-skating cutlery in the school canteen and a young child debating what lessins and glassrooms are on his or her first day at school.
They also twisted their tongues around canoeing canaries and puffins who stuff in a muffin in Didgeridoo. We are looking forward to some more drama in the coming terms!
