Consolidating knowledge
21 Oct 2022Form 4 have been finishing off some of their topics this week.
They carried out an experiment in science to test whether objects were transparent, translucent or opaque and they discussed how much they had learnt about friendships in PSHE. Next term's topics will be Teeth and Digestion in science and Keeping Safe in PSHE.
They also found out about Boudicca and her uprising against the Romans. They realised that we know very little about what she looked like and that we could not rely on the Romans to give an honest account about her.
The children were excited to receive their Languagenut login details in French, so they can now practise at home. They had a go at using it in class by consolidating their knowledge of numbers.
They have also been practising their headstands in gymnastics.
