Remembrance

In the run up to Remembrance Day, Form 7 has been thinking about life in the trenches of World War One.

Having covered much of the information in humanities, they then used their ideas to write empathetic poems, imagining that they were young soldiers, remembering the good times at home.

Their poems had to demonstrate contrast between the comforts of home and the horrors of war and the resulting pieces were touching tributes to all the young men who died in the Great War.
