For the birds
10 Feb 2023Form 4 were very excited this week to receive their scripts for Ocean Commotion, the play that they will perform next half term. They also heard all the songs and began practising them in their music lesson.
In humanities, they found out about the importance of Viking longboats and researched a Viking God of their choice.
They have continued their work on fractions this week
in maths. They have been sorting and comparing a range of fractions and also found fractions of amounts, including those with numerators apart from one.
This term's PSHE topic was caring for the environment and Form 4 concluded this by making bird feeders as their own way of helping. Although it was rather messy, they successfully made a large collection of fat balls which will now be hung around the school grounds.
