Danceathon disco
26 May 2023Our Form 7 Journalists report on a busy week.
Our week has been full of achievements. From getting to the finals of the Delancey Schools UK Chess Challenge to a some incredible ABRSM exam results. We even got our roles for the play which everyone was so happy with and some got the parts they wanted. We also raised lots of money for Hospice in the Weald with the School Council Danceathon disco!
Everyone in the school had a chance to do the Danceathon. It happened in the Russell Hall, with some disco lights prepared for us. The school council had chosen some songs to dance to. Everyone had so much fun prancing and sprinting round the room, So overall, it was so much fun and one of the best days we had.
On Tuesday, we got our roles for our end-of-term production, Sherlock and Cinders, which is part of our Leavers' Programme. We all got good roles and most of us got the parts that we wanted! There are lots of singers in our class, so there are lots of songs and solos. We’re so happy and are looking forward to our first rehearsal on stage.
On Monday we had a celebration assembly.
