Habitats and French Day
16 Jun 2023It has been a sunny week with plenty of outdoor time and activities for our annual French Day.
On Tuesday, Form 5 investigated various habitats around Russell House - a hedgerow, the grass then trees on the Paddock. They also listened and looked for birds in the areas.
They were asked to identify at least 3 animals in each area and think about why those animals might choose to live in that area. They learnt in Form 3 that a habitat provides them with shelter, water food and a place to raise their young.
Thursday was French Day and Form 5 performed a play to outline the dates and events of the French Revolution. Very impressively, they delivered their lines in French. Well done, Form 5.
