Look... but don't eat!

Form 3 have been making platefuls of healthy food - using plasticine!

Form 3 had a wonderful time baking bread last week and have drawn on this experience to write instructions about how to make hedgehog-shaped bread rolls. Using photos of the activity, they planned and wrote their instructions in the correct chronological order. Form 3 have also been looking at how to use commas in lists and they put this to good use when writing a list of ingredients.

This week in Maths, the children have continued to develop their number and place value knowledge and have been rounding numbers to the nearest ten. They used this knowledge to play a variety of maths games.

In Science, the children have deepened their understanding of a healthy diet and created models of a healthy plate of food using plasticine. The finished models look fantastic and are proudly displayed in the classroom.
