Magic wands and fairy dust14 Nov 2019
There's been a hint of magic in Nursery this week.
The fairy dust has been a huge success this week in Nursery and the children have been mark making in it using magic wands. The have also added glass gem stones and pots to make cakes and soups!
They decorated crowns with sparkly sequins as well as glittery and shiny shapes, just like the princess in our story this week of Hullabyhullaballoo.
The chill in the air hasn't dampened the children's enthusiasm for playing outside, enjoying imaginative games. Dressed in their onesies, they became brave clanking knights in the garden using swords and shields during role play. Back inside, they created castles and towers for the knights and princesses and stables for the horses using the wooden bricks - sometimes rather precariously balanced!
