Life at our independent prep school in Kent is busy and exhilarating, combining breadth of opportunity with a strong tradition of academic excellence. It is a safe, happy and welcoming environment in which all children are encouraged to develop confidence and self-belief.
At the age of two, children join our small Robins group for a couple of sessions a week. This is their introduction to the Early Years which are an integral part of the school. As they move through the classes, the children have access to all the facilities including our beautiful grounds, science centre and 'the Hub' where our main bank of computers and the library are located.
Children grow in confidence through speaking and performing in both formal in informal settings. They show their work and make presentarions or mini plays in assemblies. They play their instruments to audiences of parents at regular Performers' Platforms and they take part in annual dramatic productions with their class in our modular theatre. Forms 6 and 7 are put through their paces in an annual Public Speaking Competition.
Our size allows us to genuinely know the children as individuals and their families too. Alongside the pastoral care in school, we also value good working relationships with parents which we believe are vital for children to be happy and to thrive.
