Battle faces at the ready!25 Feb 2021
Rehearsals have started for Form 4's play...
Form 4 continued learning about fractions in Maths this week and have now linked them with decimals. They also looked at how to find equivalent fractions by multiplying or dividing the denominators and numerators.
Now that we know all the children will be back in school soon, preparation for the play has begun in earnest in English sessions. The children have been busy learning their lines and preparing their battle faces! There has also been time for some story writing.
Hinduism is the new Humanities topic and, after an introduction to the religion, the children have begun research on a temple of their choice. Science also has a new topic - rocks and soils. So far, the children have found out how igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks are formed.
In Art, the children followed a Rob Biddulph video to draw a Gregosaurus. They were very pleased with their results.
