What a show!

Form 3's week got off to a fantastic start with their stunning Christmas play!

The children had worked incredibly hard to put on a show packed with singing, dancing, instrumental delights and wonderful acting. They were deservedly very proud of the performance. You can see more pictures from the production here.

In Science the children have been learning about reversible and irreversible changes in materials. They visited the lab to conduct an investigation into the melting rates of ice by comparing how quickly ice melts at room temperature, body temperature and over a flame. They were introduced to the concept of creating a fair test environment and made predictions as to the outcome of the investigation. They then recorded their findings and discussed whether their predictions had been correct. The children very much enjoyed visiting the lab and are looking forward to returning again soon for further investigations.
