Hockey
U9B v St Michael's: Unfortunately we lost 0-4, but it was a fun game. Caitlin did some good running and was selected as Player of the Match. Isabella was very good at keeping the ball on the pitch. In the last quarter, Clara and I were in defence and she really helped me concentrate! Hopefully at our next match we will score at least one goal. Bella
U8A v St Michael's: We played St Michael's and it was an amazing game. I was the captain and everyone played amazingly. The score was 3-1 to St Micheal's. We can't wait for the next match! Kiki
U8B v St Michael's: This was the U8B's first away game and we played very well, unfortunately losing 3-1. This was the team's first match as a B team and everyone contributed really well. Each player tackled well and did their best to attack, creating some good chances, sadly not scoring any until the third quarter when Evie was able to push the ball over the line. Players got back and defended as best they could and the performance was promising for future games. There were some great passes at times, we just need to get on the end of them and spread out more. Isla was voted Player of the Match by the opposition. Isla
Football
U10/11A v Hilden Grange: Hilden Grange started well by scoring a goal. Russell house then scored and had lots of possession for the rest of the half. In the second half, both teams had some shots and Russell house scored three quick goals. Russell house then dominated the rest of the half and the end score was 6-1 to Russell House. We all played well but my Player of the Match is Henry. Sammy
U10/11B v Hilden Grange: We started the game with lots of energy where we scored a goal in the first five minutes with awesome passes. At half time, the score was 3-1 to us and in the second half, despite Mr Trigger making many changes and moving us to unfamiliar positions, we kept up our energy and with great teamwork we scored 9 goals with Oliver, James, Oscar and Edward on the scoresheet. Arty
U8/9A v Hilden Oaks: We played against Hilden Oaks. It was a really tight game, but the final score was 3-2 to Russell House. William scored a great tap in. Kit scored a brilliant goal from long range. Anthony scored a smasher. My Player of the Match was Euan, because he played in lots of different positions that he had never played in before. He adapted and played really well, with great tackles and good passing. Arlo
U8/9 B v Hilden Oaks: The score was 5-2 to Russell House. Theo E, Theo H and Ben were the players who scored the goals. The best goal was probably when Eloi passed to Theo and then he scored. It was Form 4's first home match. Louis was our goalkeeper and he did very well. The match tea was crisps, sausage rolls, cucumber and carrots. Eloi
