U9 v Derwent Lodge: Our U9 hockey team travelled to Derwent Lodge for their seventh match. It was a mighty game. A brilliant win (9-1) for Russell House today. At half time the score was 6-1 to us. The girls had a good start with two early goals. We worked brilliantly as a team, linking extremely well with each other. I was pleased to see us transferring the ball and attacking quickly, resulting in some fantastic goals. My favourite part was so many of us scored goals - Isla 1, Bella 2, Mia 2, Georgie 1, Clara 1, Annabella 2. Well done to our Player of the match, Bella.     Annabel

U10B v St Michael's: We had an amazing match against St Michael's! Emily was Player of the Match and scored a lovely goal, where the ball rolled through the defender's legs. Goals also came from Connie (who spotted a good chance when the defenders were on the other side) and Dakota, who tricked the defenders to make them think the ball was going the other way. We won 4-1. Well done Russell House!     Niah

U8A v Hazelwood: I was captain for the day, which I really enjoyed. We started the game well and Ellie scored a great goal. The whole team were great and we enjoyed the match, even though we didn't win. The final score was 3-1.    Isla

U8B v Hazelwood: I really enjoyed being captain at the hockey match today. It was a great experience. Everyone played really well. Unfortunately we lost the game 3-0, but we all had a great time and the match tea was delicious. I can't wait for the next match!    Isobel
