In maths, Form 2 are using the 100 square and learning to add and subtract multiples of 10. The children were also learning the time; o’clock, half past and quarter past. They continue to consolidate the 5 times tables.

During PHSE, the children were talking about how to resolve an argument and be a good friend. Form 2 then used the chopsticks to pass on pieces of lego in their group. The children were excellent friends by giving some great encouragement to one another.

In science, the children are exploring using the equipment to measure their results. They completed an investigation using stopwatches. They had to time certain activities and record how long it took them to complete the task. They are beginning to realise the importance of recording their results accurately.

In English, Form 2 enjoyed acting out the story of The Gingerbread man. They enjoyed changing the characters out and writing their own stories. Well done Form 2!
