From Otford to Oxford

Russell House's team was crowned National Champions at the General Knowledge Quiz Club Finals.

The competition attracted 435 teams from 260 schools, with only 34 top teams qualifying for the live finals - a remarkable feat in itself! Russell House was the only school from Kent to make it to the finals and emerged victorious after a tense series of rounds:

Round 1: Joint 1st place (with 10 teams)

Round 2: Joint 1st place (with 2 teams)

Round 3: Joint 2nd place (with 2 teams)

Round 4: Joint 1st place (with 1 team)

Round 5: Sole 1st place

Final Round: Crowned National Champions!

Their exceptional consistency and teamwork under pressure secured them the title, marking a proud moment in the School’s history. The Quiz Team’s victory further exemplifies the School’s commitment to learning excellence beyond the classroom.
