Mrs Reay introduced them to her favourite: Calvin and Hobbes. Using the speech bubbles and the pictures, the children created prose, including narrative and correctly punctuated dialogue. Then they turned the task on its head and drew their own comic strips, based on prose. We have a very talented class!
