The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about Ireland and they particularly loved listening to the legend of Giants Causeway. There were many questions asked and it created fantastic discussion.

In science, they listened to many different sounds and they had to guess what they were. They have also designed a musical instrument. They had to think about how they could make a high and low pitched sound. They also had to think how they could make their instrument quieter or louder? I look forward to the children making their instruments next week.

In maths, the children have been learning how to quarter shapes and numbers. They have also been to the Form 2 shop using the correct coins.
