In pairs, one of the children was describing a picture of a cell, whilst the other one was drawing it. There were some very mixed results, but overall they had a lot of fun learning about the structure and appearance of cells in this way.

 

Form 5 then went on to look at photos of brain, skin and muscle cells and had to label the nucleus, cytoplasm, cell membrane and cytoplasm on a picture of their own.
