How strong is paper?

Form 4 have been testing paper strength this week.

The children were given an A4 piece of paper and two paper clips. They then had to decide how to use these to make a structure that would hold the most weight.

There were lots of different designs, but the winning one was a cylinder holding an impressive 2,300g!

In Humanities, Form 4 completed their topic on the Romans by looking at what they had left behind. Some were obvious, such as roads and baths, but the children were very surprised to discover that the Romans brought rabbits and stinging nettles to Britain too.
