They actively participated in making the Friendship Soup by adding sparkles, pom-poms and other items such as happiness, friendship, hugs, safety and trust. The recipes they created are fantastic, with the children coming up with brilliant ideas. Form 2 demonstrates excellent friendship between each other.

 

 

 

 

 

 

They wrote some amazing poems collaboratively with Form 6 during their English lesson. The children also watched an old video that had the present Form 6 children in when they had learned about Friendship Soup. Form 2 then discussed as a class how they would resolve any arguments that they may have with a friend.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Form 2 put in tremendous effort learning the column subtraction method and grasped the concept quickly. Their perseverance was truly impressive and they continue to consolidate their 2, 5, and 10 times tables.

For humanities, the children planted their cress seeds. They were learning about how to care for their cress that they had planted. The children have a big responsibility to water their plant and care for it every day.

The drama workshop Perform came into school to provide a drama workshop for Form 2 and the children loved acting out a fun scenario using their imagination.
