The day gave the children a chance to celebrate the variety of languages spoken and learn more about the people and cultures connected to them.

This linked nicely with our recent Form time discussions about British values, particularly the importance of mutual respect and tolerance. The children have been thinking about what these values mean in everyday life and how showing an interest in and respect for other cultures helps us to put them into practice.
