Into the blue

The allocated colour for Science Week for Form 2 was blue.

We investigated blue animals and their skeletons. The children loved looking at Fred the skeleton and we discussed different blue animals and their skeletons. They completed a sheet to determine the different skeletons.

In maths this week, the children have been busy telling the time using the clocks. They have been consolidating o’clock, half past and quarter past. The children have been learning how to write the time in words and digits. They also have been working on division by 2, 5 and 10.

During English the children are writing a letter to Greenpeace to ask them to help save the planet. The children had many different ideas and they thought people should be fined if they did not reuse, recycle or reduce their waste.

In humanities this week the children were learning about the Great Barrier Reef. The children made a very colourful coral reef using Lego. Form 2 have decided a school trip to the Great Barrier Reef would be amazing.
