It's almost time
08 Mar 2024This week, Form 4 have been busy putting the final touches to their play and they are very excited to perform it next week. Costumes and props are ready and they've worked hard to learn all the words.
In science, they carried out a fun experiment to find out which substances dissolved in water. After a demonstration of copper sulphate, they tested coffee, tea, salt, sugar, sand and flour themselves, ensuring that they carefully measured out the water each time.
They have also begun working on time in maths. They began by making several different times on their clocks and then drawing hands accurately onto blank clock faces. Although they have found minutes to the hour trickier than minutes past, the children are becoming far more confident at reading time to the nearest minute.
