Les opinions
08 May 2026It has been wonderful hearing all about the form 6 trip to Norfolk Lakes last week and huge congratulations to our gymnasts, who won bronze, silver and gold at the BSGA National Finals in Stoke-on-Trent at the weekend.
Form 6 has been busily preparing for the IAPS Festival of Singing, taking place at Rochester Cathedral on Monday. We wish all the children the best of luck and we know that they will be amazing!
Form 6 have begun an exciting new humanities topic all about rivers. They have been learning about the different features found along a river’s course and developing their geographical vocabulary with key terminology such as confluence, estuary and ox bow lakes. The class have been working hard on the neatness and accuracy of their diagrams and geographical drawings, carefully labelling features and presenting their work to a high standard. This learning will help prepare them for their upcoming fieldwork trip to the River Darent next week, where they will have a closer look at the river profile and investigate how the river changes from one section to another.
Form 6 have been learning how to talk about school subjects in French and how to give their opinions about them. After completing a paired revision activity, they practised using opinion phrases to say which subjects they like and dislike.
