Many questions

In French, we have been revising questions.

Form 6 had to match the questions and their answers and practise their pronunciation by reading the different cards presented to them. They played a memory game, which was challenging but lots of fun.

This week, the second half of Form 6 had the opportunity to help out at our local Food Bank. This week's bonus items were shower gel and eggs. These items were carefully added to boxes of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as tinned and dried goods chosen by the clients of Sevenoaks Larder.

The children were reminded that donations are gratefully received at any time of year, but were given a preemptive thank you for the donations that will be brought in a few weeks for the Harvest Festival.

One of the Russell House Peripatetic Music Teachers, Mr Maslin, came into the music lesson to talk to the pupils about brass instruments. Mr Maslin brought in a trumpet and a trombone, explained how to make a sound on the instrument and how the instrument works. If any pupil in Form 6 is interested in having a taster lesson with Mr Maslin with a view to start lessons, then please send Miss Norford an email. Mr Maslin teaches trumpet, trombone, french horn and, if you are feeling particularly strong, the tuba!
