Mapping things out
19 Jan 2024Form 3 have been looking at map symbols in humanities.
They were challenged to follow a map around the school grounds looking for the different areas shown as a map symbol. They explored a local area map of Otford, identifying all the human and physical features. They discussed whether Otford was a village, town or city.
In PSHE, Form 3 are learning about where their food comes from. They have been looking at maps to identify countries where tuna, bananas, tropical fruit and tomatoes come from. They have been discussing who grows and produces the food that we eat.
