In English, they have been focusing on the features of playscripts and are in the middle of completing a playscript of their own based on the story of Little Red Riding Hood. 

 

In science, they have begun their new topic of rocks and soils and spent some time examining a variety of rocks in the science lab. They also found out about various manufactured rocks and how important they are to use when we are building.
 

They also enjoyed finding out how and why the Anglo-Saxons came to Britain.  In their games session, they discovered that their sports this term are netball and rugby, which they are looking forward to.
