Rock steady performance

Form 4 performed an assembly to the rest of the school this week about their work on rocks and soils.

They explained the various experiments that they had carried out during their workshop and some of the facts they had found out about the famous paleontologist, Mary Anning. All the children spoke clearly and confidently to their audience.

In humanities, they have begun learning about Christianity and looked at some of the symbols used in the religion. They then thought about symbols they would use to represent their own life, thinking about what things were particularly important to them.

Now that they have performed their class assembly, it is full steam ahead for the play. The children are busy learning their lines and the songs and they are looking forward to performing it shortly.
