Some of these were based on traditional board game designs, such as Monopoly, Snakes and Ladders, and Ludo. Others were completely original designs created by the children. They worked in pairs and some of their end results were extremely imaginative. Counters, dice and little characters were all created out of an assortment of resources. The children loved having the opportunity to design and create their own board games and there's no doubt that playing them will be just as much fun.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It was wonderful to hear all about their games in Mrs Farraway's special art assembly on Tuesday. A huge well done to all of the children in Form 6 for their excellent designs and their fantastic assembly.

During Form Time, we have been discussing the School Council Hustings, which will take place on Tuesday, 17th June. Mr McCarthy has also spoken to the children and given them the criteria they need to follow. We are now looking forward to hearing their speeches next week. Good luck to everyone who is taking part.
