The children all had a wonderful time carrying out experiments and learning all about the importance of rocks. There were volcanic eruptions, the formation of metamorphic rock and the chance to use microscopes to have a close look at what exactly is in our soil. The children even had the opportunity to make their own plaster fossil and take it home as a keepsake.
