Netball
U10/11A: We have won more games than we have lost and in tournaments we have done very well, making the national finals in the ISA tournament. Finding space in the court has been one of our improvements this year as well as passing the ball quicker. Our star player has been Annabella because she shoots lots of goals and is a good centre as well. Georgie H
U10/11B: We made a lot of progress this term. We worked specifically on shooting and improving our footwork. We also played a tournament in which we played excellently. Nandin improved greatly, learning how to intercept to the point that she was so fast that we didn't even know where she was! Overall we did very well this season and, even when faced with losses, we always returned strong in the next game. Aimee R
U10/11C: We achieved many victories, but faced some losses that we have learnt from. Everyone has tried very hard this term, especially Catherine as she always gives her best. We are looking forward to continuing netball in the future. Lucy A-S & Anaya G
U9A: We have enjoyed all of the matches and tournaments and we have always really tried so hard to do our best. We have definitely improved our shooting skills and aiming the ball. Our star players who have worked hard are; Jessica, Annabel, Rosie and Zoey. They all communicate really well and it has been a great season. Rosie G
U9B: We have won quite a lot of games and lost only a few, as well as performing very well in a number of tournaments. Our communication has improved alongside our efforts to find space in the court. Isabella has been a very good centre. Isabella T & Bella C
U8: When playing matches, our team has spread out across the court well this season, with Bluebell and Olivia being particularly strong in this area. We need to keep improving the type of passing we do to get better at moving the ball. Kiki K & Olivia A
Rugby
U10/11A: We have won all our games except for one. All of us have played well, but my standout player is Barnaby, because he is making some good passes and lots of support runs. We still need to be a bit stronger in our tackling technique, but the matches have been excellent. Kamran B
U10/11B: This season for rugby has been really good, even though we have had a number of rugby games rained out. We have won all of our matches this season, improving most on running straight and passing to our teammates. The people who scored the most tries were Sammy and Freddy, with 10 tries each. Sammy W & Harry P
U9: We have won more games than we have lost. I think we have improved a lot on running and passing, particularly at a faster pace, whilst we have also been a lot stronger in our tackles. Noah has been the standout player because he works so hard. Arlo S
U8: We’ve enjoyed getting better at passing and looking for someone who is going to make a good run. We have also learned how to make dummy passes to get past defenders. Theo has played very well as he is quick, whilst Finlay is a tricky runner to tackle. The thing that I have enjoyed the most is to break through tackles. Markus V
Cross Country
ISA National Cross Country Championships 2024: I went up to registration and picked up my red bib, representing London South and we then had a cold wait before we watched the Year 5/6 Girls' race. Isla did incredibly well and came 39th out of 60. Next, it was my turn. At the start of the Year 5/6 Boys' race, I was last out of my pen but I finished 53rd out of 64 runners. Henry J
Gymnastics
This term has been a highly competitive one for gymnastics. Firstly, we headed to Aberdour School where we would compete on the floor and vault. The boys team placed second, sending them to national finals in April. Next, we competed at Tormead school where the mixed team placed first in sports acrobatics and the boys team came second. Anders then competed in tumbling, where he placed second. It has been a riveting term for gymnastics and we cannot wait for our next endeavours. Bella M & Anders M
Swimming
IAPS Regional Swimming Championship: The first swimmer in our team swam in the butterfly race and came last in her heat, but she still did really well. We had two people doing backstroke, with one swimmer finishing in third place. We had one more stroke event and our three swimmers all finished in third plac. Nandin C-K
